Go to your message page and click on the Quoted sub folder. Check the number of results at the bottom of the screen. Divide this number by the number of months you have been active on The Escpaist Forums and you get your Quotes/month ratio. Obviously the higher the number the more quotable you are. This may or may not be a good thing and depends for what reason people are quoting you for.

My Quote ratio is 31 & 1/3 quotes per month (188/6) which works out at about 1 per day. However, in my case most people quote me because they disagree with me not because they appreicate my humourous, well rounded, well constructed, logically undeinable, gramatically incorrect, spellingly aweful sentances.

So, what's your quote to time ratio? Why do you think you get quoted? How big an ego does it give you?

I delete all quotes after I read them.
But I'd hazard a guess at two to three a day. I believe most my quotes often have 'This.' written beneath them, although a couple strongly disagree and some point out if I made a mistake of some sort.
Ego wise, it doesn't really do anything. For me at least.

1420 quotes so far and I keep every single one of them. I like getting feedback I guess and some of them are fun to read, the number of regular quoting has receeded in number because I'm on here less as my computer is really slow right now but regardless it is a lot and I am proud of it.

I have 1569 and I've been active for 5 months (I know I joined in February, but from about April until August I didn't post at all) = 313.8 per month, or roughly 10.46 per day. That seems very high indeed... my PM ratio is roughly 4.6 per day, way down.

Huh. Am I the only one that disabled the quote-message thingy? It annoyed me so much to have 20 new messages all about being quoted every time I visited the site.

452/5 = 90.4

Apparently I'm relatively quotable.

It doesn't give me a big ego though, but it is nice to know what I say gets noticed.

That also means that about 1 in 3 of my posts are quoted. I must talk less shit than I imagined. :D

... Last week, I had been here for a year and a half exactly.
Woah.

But, uh, yeah. According to Google, mine is 49.6111111
I rarely say anything worth responding to, I guess.

I don't get why your dividing the number with quote count. Some write 1000 comments in one month, others write 1 comment in year. If i post only one comment in one month, and it gets quoted, 1/1=1, does that make me a quotable person? (but maybe i don't know what ''divide'' means and what this ''/'' icon means. Seriously, i don't.)

511/16 yields a number of 31.9ish, so about one per day. Most people quote me because I like to post funny stuff, but a decent part of them are people telling me how uninformed I am for disliking the PC. I feel like Moshe the Beadle at the beginning of Night running around yelling "The PC will betray you! Stop playing games on it!" That always goes over well.
