First off, get away from Benezia. I suggest running to the right, as that instantly puts a wall between you and her, and since she doesn't move, you'll just have to worry about the Asari Commandos now. Please note that you're going to need to be slamming down on the stick before the cutscene ends in order to get out of the way fast enough.
After that, put Wrex at one end of the corridor, Garrus at the other, and support them as needed. Wrex should be able to handle himself, so watch Garrus. Use your power liberally, along with that of your squad mates. Once the first wave falls, another wave will come in. Wait for your powers to recharge before engaging them. Rinse and repeat. Once all the waves are down, go after Benezia.
On a side note, you should bring Liara instead. Not only can see resist biotics better--and toss the Asari Commandos around easily enough--but you also get some bonus dialogue.

I just shot at them until they stopped moving. With the soldier class, try to keep moving and unload with the AR or the shotgun. I don't remember too much about that fight though.
I think that "oh boy" comment is there to alert you that you are missing on lot of stuff. Because soldier is probably the most boring class in ME1 (and in the 2nd as well 
).
Obviously use the gun you have the most points in, should it be sniper rifle this is probably to only fight you can use it in entire game so I'd suggest you do so. Also mind exploding cannisters (barrels?) that are lying around the place - those help a lot. If you manage to dodge all the biotic powers they thow at you, you should be fine (being lifted and sniped at the same moment sucks).
As others said dont stay anywhere near Benezia, she's invulnerable (or at least I think so) and she is armed, what worked for me was telling her to die (because I'm badass) and then Leeroying (i.e. running while shouting and shooting) to the right, no stops. You can camp there for most of the fight.

Don't expose yourself to the Geth Snipers, and keep your distance from them. Also, look out for Benezia's furniture throwing. I got killed by a crate that blindsided my face >.>

I think the standard build is soilder. So use lots of assult rifle powers. rapid fire I think it's called. and mow them down as they rush you. Aim for their heads, when that power is in cool down, switch to a different weapon, shotgun works at close range and overkill does nicely as well. If their shields are down, a shot with the one that knocks them back will get them off you. Give Garrus an assult rifle and Wrex a shotgun
That's what I did. See what you do is you aim at them so the reticle is on them, then you pull the trigger. I found it was pretty easy.AC10 said:
