How to do two things in Left 4 Dead

Here's what I'd like to know:

1. I've noticed that during co-op when certain people stand still long enough, that a picture appears on a wall or floor near them (a picture of their choice obviously). I would like to know how to do this myself.

2. I was playing co-op and then someone called a vote to change maps. We changed and played but i never got around to asking them. I would also know how to do this as well.

The first thing is a spray, they set it in the multiplayer menu and hit "t"

The second is used through the ESC menu Call Vote option

1: it's their spray. you set the button to use it under controls.

2: you should be able to call a vote from the pause menu.

You need to convert the format. I forget the extension but it's the most obscure on on the list of picture formats u can save with.

Also, how do you shoot a gun in Left 4 Dead? This is the PC version, I'm kind of having problems with it, I already tried the W,S and T keys and sometimes even the mouse wheel to no avail.

You can pick up gas tanks, fuel containers propane tanks etc. The E key.

Oh alright, thanks, I'll try it in the morning. Although if anyone knows how to pick up things like those bottles that I see people throwing around I'd appreciate if you'd told me.

You just press the balloon key on your keyboard. Sometimes the cheese button works, but I only get about 50% feedback from it.

How do you light a molotov? Whenever I throw my bottle the fire isn't lit and I get a lot of angry team-mates saying "WTF YOU MISSED THE MOLLY ON THE TANK?!?!" and I say "No, it was a direct hit, it just wasn't lit..."

Same goes for pipe-bombs, I throw them but the beeper doesn't go off.
