How To Reset A 2DS

Hey.. I'm getting a 2DS for my niece for Christmas and i need to check if the r4 card Ii have is compatible(2DS is coming in the mail) i know i will have to make an acc first so i was just wondering... How do you reset the system?

I don't know if there is any reset for the 2DS itself, but the soft reset for DS games should still work, since it does on 3DS.
Just press L + R + Start + Select when playing DS games.

Also, I'd be careful talking about r4 cards. The mods frown on piracy and there is not a whole lot of legitimate uses for an r4.

Be careful! If it's a classic or light DS R4, it won't work. I'm not entirely certain, but there could be a chance of bricking if it's not built for the 3DS or 2DS.
