How to vent the anger...

Hello fellow escapists... I know for my first thread this is kind of "not the topic to start with"

As i always appreciate the comments i read i have following question to you: "How would you vent extreme anger?"

The backstory is that i just found out that my girlfriend slept around in the last month and lied to me like hell. Naturally i'm full of anger and hatred. As i don't want to harm anything/anybody and i really don't want to, i need an idea to vent my anger...

...I'm sure many of you were there at one time or another.What did you do that doesn't involve revenge/harm on the other person.


Ah and naturally i packed all my stuff and went home...

Punch a pillow possibly or other soft objects. You get your anger out and you don't hurt yourself.

well, I'm not sure how to tell you to vent it, but if your phone has a block function, block her number, block her email address, cut off all contact from her and just move on.

anger's sustaining, but it's not healthy, just find a good game, maybe one with an online versus mode of some kind, and bash some anonymous digital skulls in until you're over it.

i already did break all contact, and its quite a good idea to game it out...
...i'm thinking of Quake 3 + FearFactory...

...the pillows thing tends to make me more angry so....thats not a good one.

My gym has a hefty punch bag, I tend to let loose for 15 minutes or so, throw a few knees, kicks and elbows into the mix, then afterward I stretch out for about 20 minutes, almost like doing yoga, incredibly relaxing. Attacking my anger from two fronts firstly venting then calming.

If I'm ever feeling any kind of negative feeling, I find the best thing is to find something extremely complicated and take it apart, slowly and with great concentration, then fully rebuild it. The greater the feelikng, the larger and more complicated the object needs be.

I find filling my mind with the logic and order of said machine helps combat the turmoil and chaos of my mind, but then again, I'm hardly the average

Buy an old Game system, take it apart, put it back together after cleaning it... My NES and SNES are remarkably clean...
EDIT: Or buy a "Current Gen" and do the same... Have my backup 360 apart (installing new heat sinks/modifying the fan shroud)...

this is another good one, I keep a baseball bat and a bunch of useless junk around, so I'm never at a loss for things to break or of a way to do it... plus it's good training for the inevitable zombie apocalypse.
