How was 2011 for you?

Pretty much all there is to say, with everyone looking towards the impending doom/hilarity of 2012, I wondered how the year beforehand was for everyone.

As for me, this has probably been the best year of my life. Not really saying much, but in this year, I have almost become a functional human being.

Kinda sucked, truthfully 2012 couldn't come any faster.

I got arrested, sort of and had a miserable 3rd semester of college.

It was alright. I was turned down for a PhD position at the 11th Hour (they ran out of funding, or so they say, but it's much more likely that someone more qualified than I was came along) but I managed to get into my Medical School of choice. The flip side is that I got in on a Government Scholarship Scheme which means they pay for my training and I have to work as their slave for 4 years of my life, anywhere they want in the whole of Australia. I'm pretty sure they'll send me to a hell-hole in the outback.

Aside from that, it was mostly just bland. It was a sucky, sucky year for the rest of the world as a whole though. And one that a lot of people are glad to see the back of.
