So I'm debating getting either AC: Revelations or this, but I want to make sure it's a decent console port. I guess the same goes for Revelations, but I've heard more gripes about L.A. Noire.

LA Noire is okay on PC, it has a few issues, but I found they didn't detract too much from my enjoyment of the game. LA Noire is capped at 30FPS because of the motionscan facial capture technology, the motion capture was shot at 30FPS so any higher framerate causes the audio to not sync up with the facial animations.

The game also has some minor performance issues, walking around on foot in some outdoor areas does seem to cause framerate drops. Most of the time the game runs relatively smooth so this isn't a huge issue, the action sequences don't suffer from framerate problems in my experience. These framerate drops seem to occur due to CPU bottlenecking, the game doesn't handle multithreading properly and can only use 2 cores. It was maxing out 2 cores on my i5 760, and I think that was causing the framerate to drop on occasion, even though my Radeon HD 6870 wasn't ever exceeding 60% usage at 1080p when running on all Quality settings, aside from Shadows with 1x FXAA. You may get better luck if you have a Sandy Bridge CPU, they have better single threaded performance than my i5 760, I didn't bother overclocking my CPU to see if that helped.

The game also crashes when you try to exit, but that's a really minor gripe.

I haven't played AC: Revelations, so I don't know how good it is, but I would still recommend LA Noire on PC, the game runs okay most of the time, though your experience might be different if you have weaker hardware. The gameplay is quite good, it's a nice departure from your typical wide open sandbox game, and you get all the DLC free with the PC version, giving you four extra cases.
