Back in 2012, Gawker Media Group, Owner of Kotaku, Jezebel, Gizmodo and various other "Media" websites published a sex tape back in 2012, the sex tape featuring Wrestling Superstar, Hulk Hogan.
As it turns out, hosting a sex tap you don't have the rights to do so, isn't something people are very fond of, and as such Hulk Hogan has begun a legal suit against Gawker, to the tune of $100 Million.
Unfortunately for Gawker, it appears that Hogan actually has quite a solid case, and so, a lot of commentators believe this may be quite a smackdown for Gawker Media group, as the company certainly doesn't have a spare $100 Million lying around.
In response, Nick Denton has written an article in response titled "The Cost of Free Journalism" in which he rationalises his choice to publish the sex-tape by claiming that Hogan's openness with discussing his sex life means he was fair game for the release of the tape.
