Here's my review for Hunted. I decided to wait until I'd explored almost everything in the game before doing this, which is why it's a little later than some other reviews. Anyway, I've tried to go into a reasonable amount of detail which I hope gives a rounded view of the game, the experience, and ultimately my scores for it.

Anyway, hope someone finds this useful.

I've been following this game for a while now. To be honest, I didn't really expect a lot from it and by watching your review, I can see that was pretty good stance to have. Too bad the gameplay looks so samey, especially during that last boss fight you showed, nothing but spamming arrows.

Now, having said that, I expect I'll be picking it up at some point on the PS3. Me and my friend usually enjoy co-op games, so despite it looking a bit repetetive, I'm sure we'll have a laugh about it. You said yourself, that the game did improve a bit, by playing it with someone else.

Anyway, great review, I've been looking forward to seeing someone give their opinion about the game. Had the gameplay just been better, the replayability would have been way higher and I'm sure this would have been a solid title. Instead, it seems like a mediocre title, at best.

Yup, I think you have the grasp of it, in a nutshell really.

Thanks for the comment mate - always nice to get a little encouragement/feedback.

Sure, no problem. Us posters here in the User Review section should stick together and give each other feedback, since there are not a lot of us here, sadly, at least not people who comment.

My own reviews don't get all that much attention, but that's most likely because the games I tend to review are obscure and/or older titles that most people haven't heard about or forgotten entirely. Still, would be nice to get some comments once in a while, but oh well, they're still fun to write and getting rid of those nostalgia glasses to see if the game is still worth playing today.

Thanks for the review. Luckily, I rented this game a while back and have around 3 days left till I have to take it back, so I should complete it by then.

I seemed to get pretty much the same impression that you got from it. I do think the gameplay is very repetitive though, and simply changing character does not sort that. I also think that the story isn't great - always seems your too late for the big action, eg when a city gets totally burned to the ground. Why do I only arrive AFTER that happens.

At the moment though, I've only gotten to chapter 4. Don't suppose it gets any better?

Oh and for future reference, the review could do with being a little shorter. I think around 7-8 minutes would have done for this game. And also try and sound a bit more excited, to draw your audience in as you sound like your simply reading a script.

But yes, overall well done! good review! =D

Frankly .. no lol. It's not so much that it gets better or worse .. it just stays the same. It kinda just walks the line between potential win and total fail the whole way through really with little deviation or diversity.

Yup, I agree with you, and will try and curtail my rage/cynicism to make the reviews a little more timely. Strangely a lot of my other reviews are shorter, so I suppose I just got a bee in my bonnet about Hunted .. unsurprisingly hehe.

I'll try .. sometimes, with some games, it's very difficult for me :O)
