I am WAYY to excited for a game that's gonna come out on november 2011...Advice on how to cool down?

Hah, I don't, because I really like the excitement. Oh sure sometimes there's the low of it not meeting the expectations, not even remotely sometimes, but hell I take that risk.

That's the thing, I can't cool down. I am way to exited for Skyrim already (sorry) and I know I will just have to wait in agony until November.

Since I have no money at the moment I remain unexcited for any game, solely because I can't play them.

It is a bad boat to be in.

OT: Play something else? Make your preorder now, or whenever you can, and try to focus on something else. I just put the receipt in my wallet and try to find another game or something to distract me. Good time to root through the bargain bin for any gems they are hiding.

Video games are nice, but not worth a pitch level of excitement six months ahead of time. That's the kind of crap AAA designers and publishers feed on when it comes to advertising and preorders, cutting corners on QA, and foregoing genuine innovation and industry advancement for profit, because it's pulling seven- or eight-figure profits before it's even released.

Also: Seriously, cuneiform in my captcha? Is there even an IME for that?

Skyrim - I think about how broken it will be. I know a new engine and everything but they never quite ironed out the bugs from their last engine, the last game they developed, or the last game they produced. I only hope that in the year that follows they will be able to fix it up enough that the goty will be worth buying.
Battlefront 3 - I play another military style fps; there's a million of them.
Halo 4 - I play another scifi style fps; there's about a million of them.
