Have you ever seen a trailer or heard an announcement and made a judgement or prediction?

have you had that prediction come true, but no one will believe you?

Well here is the solution, post your calls here escapist, so years or months later you can find this thread in the archives, point, laugh...

and say 'I told you so'

My Call: Spore will be nowhere near is expansive as we expect, and we will all begrudge the world for teasing us with such high hope and promises.

My Call: There will be a Halo 4, everyone will moan but buy it anyway

My Call: A western developer will buy out the MGS franchise and make MGS5... the average joe will like it more than the originals... but true fans will cry themselves to sleep.

Can we alter something that someone before us called in case we have simmilar ideas, but not quite the same? If we can, that Halo 4 bit is true, but it won;t be called Halo 4.

Anyway, onto my personal call. Hmmmm...

I Call that Assassin's Creed 2 will be better then the first because they'll make the combat better, but it won't sell nearly as well because people are so annoyed at the first (Which, by the way, I really enjoyed). That's kind of an obvious one, though, so I'll think of another. Hmmm...

I call that in a few years, after someone else has tried to make an MGS and it ends up not doing as well, Hideo Kojima will come back on and perhaps allow us to play through the story of how Raiden and Snake saved Sunny in an advanced version of how Portable Ops Worked (only 2 characters to control, but you can jump between them).

If the pattern holds true, hard-fact news of the next next-gen consoles will emerge right about the time we see Final Fantasy XV

And I predict the Final Final Fantasy will be FFXXXII, but only because Ragnarok will come to fruition six months after it's release.

I call that the next we'll see of Duke Nukem Forever will be a trailer more than a year from now.

I call that Bungie will develop Halo 4 and that they'll announce it between 5 and 10 years from now.

I call that the Assassin's Creed series will go through the same phases as the Prince of Persia series: the next game will fix up all the old issues but miss the point and the last game will be a perfect conglomeration of the first and second.

guitar hero: aerosmith will be a flop, metalica will have everyone cursing and throwing little plastic guitars through their tv screens

Ralph Nader will win the 2008 elections...he has the power to unite Hillary and BArack in february, he has the power to do anything*

Barack Obama will not, WILL NOT, choose Hillary as his running mate, so everybody shut-the-hell-up!

*in February btoh Barack and Hillary said that Nader shouldn't even try, and he made his biggest impact on the election when he announced his candidacy.

My Call: In about a week MGS4 will become the new ***** of the escapist, feeing up Halo from the brutality it has endured.

As a fan of Both MGS and Halo, i call that Ultrajoe will be similarly depressed as he is now.

My Call: HSIA is right for every damn one of those and he is burned for witchery...

but i dont think WoW was poor, just outdated (don't tell me you didn't droll over the graphics when you first saw them in a a teaser), and perhaps its time to gently let the old girl down, perhaps offering the chance to transfer a measure of your WoW success over to my new time sink-to-be Diablo 3.

i swore, i swore to god i would never play another MMO again after i quit WoW... but one damn gameplay teaser and i want that game so bad i would cut off my penis to get it.

I call Bioware's "Unnamed MMO" takes place in the KOTOR universe. (And pray that it's utterly awesome)

Call of Duty 5 will fail just as miserably as Treyarch's other attempt at the franchise. And that if a 6th is made, Infinity Ward will take over and make another masterpiece.
