Pfft...HAHAHA!!! That was entertaining. Hang on, I'm gonna go write a hit song...

Edit: I actually lost count of how many songs that they listed off. Does anybody know how many they reference?

Edit 2: I counted. I believe it's 37 (38 if you count their "BirdPlane" song)

Haha, Axis of Awesome are great. To try to save this thread from being "spam," let me refer you to Rob Paravonian. He's another good musical comedian.

No! Don't destroy the illusion! Can't I just go on pretending those are all different songs? Please? Just for another day or two?

I've heard that before and it's really funny how they work like that, but I can't help to think they altered the songs a bit... but oh well. It's so interesting and actually kind of sad...

old video is old.

True enough though but really, if you focus on the exacting similiarities the joy in life vanishes.

History is cyclical, stop complaining and enjoy it.

Yes, there's "the 4 chord song" but you know what? the songs that all, ALL use that, are still good songs taken on their own

I cant believe anyone needs a video to tell them something this obvious

EDIT: Although I am glad that these guys made this so that people who just blindly listen to the top 40 and nothing else can see how they're being sold the same crap over and over again

Very cool. It would make sense that songs wouldn't deviate from 'winning formulas' so to speak.
