This is a continuation from the thread "I can't access my router settings."

I eventually got in and have changed my WPA-TSK code but now I can't access the internet from my laptop. It has my connection listed under the list of connections that are available but it won't connect whatsoever. I've tried rearranging the cables that plug into the router itself but that doesn't seem to be working. I've also tried unplugging it and leaving it for a while but that doesn't work either. Would it make any difference if I switched my PC (not laptop) off at the wall? Or would a system restore wotk?

Note: Please don't ask me to reset the router to factory settings as I don't know how to set it back up again.

Try disconnecting and typing in the WPA-TSK code, usually works for me. Or is it that it doesn't even try to connect and not prompt you to type in the code.

...have you tried turning it off and on again? ;D.
This'll probably be better suited to the Advice Forum by the way; I see no discussion here:].

Eh', wasn't sure where to post it to be honest.
I've tried turning it off and switching it back on again numerous times.

Whats the manufacturer and model of your router? All routers deal with wireless networks differently so it can be a bit difficult to pin point the problem.

Also does your laptop actually connect to the network but without internet, or is not able to do that?
