I can't get Mass Effect 2 to launch (PC Origin Version)

I forgotten how frustrating it is to get this game working on PC.

Now let me ask, to anyone that has a PC and plays the EA Origin version of Mass Effect 2 how do you got it to work?

The issue I had seems to be common, trying to launch the game through Origin results in literally nothing happening. The solution I found was going into binaries folder (for me it was C:/Program Files (x86)/Origin Games/Mass Effect 2/Binaries). Then do two things:

Rename MassEffect2.exe as MassEffect2Launcher.exe
Rename ME2Game.exe as MassEffect2.exe

No idea why it worked but it did.

I tried that and then launched the game through Origin, and it did not work still.

Also I uninstalled the game after I was tinkering the game to no avial.

I am going to copy paste the game files and than do the Renaming thing to see if it works because I am not downloading all this crap again.
