Hmm not the best delivery overall and the whole "MAYBE IT"S EVIL FEMINISTS!"bit towards the middle was pretty questionable
That's when I stopped watching it. It wasn't really that good until that point but I thought I was near the end when he was at the final point of his, when I saw it was only mid way, I had to stop it. Couldn't endure more.
Yes, the situation is bad, I agree. I agree that Twich has to do
something like at least explain their position. However, the guy in the video did not really come across as "the reasonable side", either. Let's see:
1. He went "gee my game was banned alongside THESE CHERRY PICKED FEW, therefore they MUST think it's the same game". Even though there are clearly more types of games in that list and it doesn't have to be the same as the ones he focused.
2. He brought up
individual aspects of the game that were present in other games, justifying them one by one, when I could very well see the
collection of them (or few) that might be causing the problem.
3. He complained that Twitch employees were annoyed with him pestering them. Which, he pretty much did, since it seems he contacted a lot of them.
4. The complaint about "they don't like anime" was pretty nonsensical. The overexaggarated little strawman for it was also pretty cringe-worthy.
5. The "Twitch wants to make money? GET ME THERE AND I'LL MAKE THEM MONEY" point felt somewhat tasteless and came off as more bragging than an actual point "Look, ma, I've got a million subscribers!".
6. The "es-jay-dubbyas did it!" bit was when I just stopped caring.
Again - yeah, it sucks. But the guy didn't really came over as very likeable and I am wondering what part of Twitch's reluctance to help him comes from that.
