I didn?t know about Dope before playing Guitar Hero 3, but when I played this song on that game I loved it and looked the band up on YouTube and listened to some of their songs. I actually bought No Regrets thanks to Guitar Hero and I have no regrets (LOL) about it, and I am not the only one who has done this.

@556678354 Many rock bands saw a rise in sales after their music was featured in Guitar Hero and rock music was becoming popular again thanks to it. People who liked the games started picking up real guitars and learned how to play them and old albums started selling again.
