Your list is great with one exception. As an owner of FFXII, I would only recommend that game only if you were a fan of the other Final Fantasies and thought to yourself "I wonder what FF would be like if they took everything and just made it shit? Just with better graphics so I can clearly see the shit as it seeps into my brain and robs me of will to live"

Seriously, dude. Take even a short look around and you'll see tons of games that would be right up your alley.

Also, assuming that an FPS can't have a good story? Bad move. You're missing out on some real masterpieces. Unless you just don't like stories with guns.
