Title Pretty Much says it all. I'm into pretty much any type of game, so whatever you think would be the best use of my money, go ahead and suggest.

Also, I'd rather buy several cheaper games than one more expensive one, and am generally against early access games on principle.

I heartily recommend Torchlight II, since it's on sale right now at 75% off. It's an excellent Diablo-esque game, from the people who made it. Path of Exile is an online game like it, but free.

Another good online game is No More Room In Hell. You really do need the help of other players to get through the zombies, though. That game is also free. Both it and Path of Exile were in development for a while, with NMRiH being a Greenlit modification and PoE being a "spiritual successor" to the old Diablo games.

Nothing else jumps out, so it's probably best to hold on to the rest of your money and wait to see what other sales come up later in the year.

Jeez, Torchlight 2 is selling for $5 this weekend. I paid double that and it is just amazing! Do you already have that one?

No, put I do have Path of Exile and played it for a little while, didn't really stick with me all that well, but I can see why people like this type of game.

Here are a few games you should try:

The Stanley Parable - A fun comedic and oftentimes disconcerting romp through what seems like endless corridors with a narrator talking to you along the way.

Gone Home - A strange game with an interesting way to tell a story.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons - Two Brother's off on an adventure to save a love one.

Outlast - Explore an Insane Asylum full of evil bastards. Might give you one or two frights along the way as well.

If only you had asked this like a couple weeks or so ago, I would have been yelling at yo to get DA:O while it was on sale...

Starbound is a pretty good game, It's like Terraria in space with a couple of improvements. I enjoy it.

Megabyte punch is a pretty good side-scrolling beat'em up. You have a robot that you can customize with various parts that give you different abilities.

If you are into Point-And-Click/Adventure games I highly suggest The Cat Lady. It has a really good story and great characters.

I personally do not like free, online MMORPGs. Everyone I've ever played takes forever to load, often has to do multi-gig "updates" and if you do join a party, people come to depend upon you! I have a buddy does all nighters with partners in WOW.

Torchlight 2, I can play some, save it, start anew fairly quickly. There is an online mode too. Offline, I use cheats cuz I can! A very different art style as well.

If you didn't like PoE you won't like Torchlight 2. I enjoyed Diablo 2, but I grinded it all the way to lvl ~85 running stupid amounts with my roommate over the summer many years ago. Burned me the hell out and I can't enjoy those games anymore.

I recommend Shadowrun Returns if you like strategy RPGs. The main story is great and there's some real gems in the Workshop since it has the full devkit out. Expansion supposed to come out early this year sometime.

If you like more Heroes of Might and Magic stye, King's Bounty Crossworlds is $20 as well and a very good example of the genre that I enjoyed immensely.

For the best use of your money I would just suggest waiting 'till the next sale. Then you'll be able to pick up several of the great games that have been suggested in this thread.

Was just about to mention this, the Breakdown expansion is especially awesome. It takes away the story part (which was annoying, personally) and leaves you on your own to start up a settlement and survive. And man does it get hectic, just had to put down one of my people who was at deaths edge from a bite wound and my best cook also has a fever which has me worried, also have yet to upgrade my tower since hordes have been getting a little too close for comfort lately.

Easily the best zombie survival game I've ever played.
