I got it, and it's pretty funny. Zombina loses her boobs, beach time is had, they try to scare Rachnea. Its a lot more short story and skit focused than the first Vol. though, which I didn't like as much. Still pretty good though. Now on the shelf with the rest!

I bought them at a convention a few months back but my backlog is so ridiculous I've just not got around to them yet. Looking forward to making a start though, as soon as I finish the second volume of DanMachi.

And maybe the second volume of the SAO Novels.

Anyway, I'm enjoying this book a lot more than the first one. I don't know, maybe I just wasn't in the mood or something, but the first volume fell kind of flat to me. The humor just wasn't clicking I guess. I think part of it might have been because some of the jokes felt like they were just recycled from the series, without any fun twists.
Not so on this volume. Plus, it's branching out in include a lot of the secondary cast, which I think is always nice. Kind of wish Lala would show up a bit more in these stories, but otherwise I'm enjoying this one much more.

Eh, the manga kinda went downhill for me when the mc just kept getting monster waifus instead of focusing on the one's he already has. I've barely seen Rachnera or Mero in the past few chapters and everyone else in mostly in the background now.

Fffffffffffffuck, that is one of the worst reptile girl design I've ever seen. It is LITERALLY a woman's torso frankenstein'd between a T-rex's torso and vestigial arms. I mean I know japanese creators can make shit monster girls sometimes, but shit, that's just lazy.

However the Protagonist isn't the one to mess with. He is not the classic "oh I am sorry I touch your boobs/asses every 5 seconds" Hero bullsh*t we read mostly.
He is more the "I am calm because in reality you are already dead" type of protagonist.

Honestly, this is how I fell out of harem anime in general, so many interesting plots and characters wasted with repetitive hijinks that too often amounts to: "female wants to have sex with main character, this is prevented somehow and relationships fail to advance or develop in any meaningful way".

Its the same here, that and they keep introducing monster girls with the same motivation ( they all want to ride the same dick) to the point that it feels like its got a case of too many characters with not enough development. Basically there are too damn many monsters in that mans harem.

I think I could have really enjoyed this if they just let the girls play off each other more instead of it all coming down to wanting the same dick. Cause aside from that they are actually fun characters and much more enjoyable when they play off each other. The harem aspect is the weakest aspect of the thing, maybe its better in the manga but it gets old fast in the anime.
