I love badges, do you also love badges?

A refrence of some old cartoon show? Anyways i love the way escapist has the badges like little achivements and they are soo awesome !! In extra credits it shows of an example achievemnts which was used badly and an example that is done well is the escapist .

My fave is the pink fire for hot topic.

They're okay, but they're also nothing to get worked up over.

Some of the ones that are actually "special" are fun to see or earn, but they don't really serve much of a purpose.

I don't even have my "best" badges featured any more. Just the ones that I like the look of now. XD

It's nice to get badges. Although some of the ones I get seem to appear randomly. Like the Halloween candy badges.

There's not really a reason NOT to like them, and they're fun to get, but I don't go out of my way to get badges most of the time.

It'd be nice if they were harder to get. There are very few that actually require a special feat or unique achievements. Most are given out like candy.

Meh, they're all right. I find most of them are rather meaningless, like the ones you get for watching Escapist programming. It also seems rather meaningless when you can only display 4 of them so unless they visit your profile, which nobody ever does, no one else is going to see your entire collection anyway.
Still I suppose they are a fun little gimmick. Although most of the ones I actually want are no longer available.

EDIT: Speaking of badges, why can't I move the Red Button badge in my badges list? When I tried I just ended up with Justin Beiber's face plastered all over everything ...AGAIN!
