Although I've never played a Twisted Metal game I am looking forward to the new one.

It looks like some good explosive fun; reminds me of Jak X.

I've played that game, Jak X is more racer less shooter while the Twisted Metal franchise has it more shooter less racer

There was a deathmatch mode that was fun to play with friends, but I know what you mean.

In Jak X the racing AI was brutal, but the deathmatch AI was quite bad.
