It's strictly just for Overwatch, it needs to play it on the lowest settings, I just need it to hit 25 FPS, and I need the PC small enough to fit in a gym bag.

This obviously isn't a rig designed for serious play. It's designed so that when I'm on the go, I can screw around in Quick Play and farm XP. I'm having trouble building it because I think what the websites call Minimum requirements and I call minimum requirements are two different things.

Really if someone could reccomend a CPU, a GPU and a Motherboard, I'd be thankful.

Well, that's quite the task.

Give this a read [http://www.toptengamer.com/150-gaming-pc/], maybe?

I'd honestly recommend trying to stretch the budget a bit further. I don't know how taxing Overwatch is, but 4 GB of RAM is really not... great... it's barely even enough to browse the internet anymore.

EDIT: Also, that doesn't include things like monitor/keyboard/mouse, and I dunno if you already have those. 'Cause, well, those can be pretty pricey as well.

I'd say asking to play Overwatch on a $150 budget is asking a bit too much nowadays... Heck, just the video card is considered cheap if you get it for $150.

Will you not need a monitor?

Small enough to fit in a gym bag? Well, building one seems impractical at this point. What you need is a cheap laptop of some kind.

I have ways around this. So no, I don't. Don't even need a mouse and keyboard, I got a steam controller.

I figure desktops are cheaper though... *sigh* theres no way to do this without dropping 500 bucks and I can't do that for one game :/ frustrating.

Well, most of the time, yeah. I just figured a laptop has better portability. You could try checking sites like kijiji or even hardwareswap on Reddit, and see if anyone has a cheap laptop or components for sale.

They can be, depending on how you do it. Unfortunately, even if you managed to get one for $150, there's no guarantee it'll even run the game to begin with. Check out Craigslist, maybe they have something cheap on there you can buy. But the two big problems I see is that you'd need a monitor for one thing, and fitting an entire PC into a gym bag might be rather unrealistic, unless with was a Mini-ITX/Mini LAN box kind of case. A laptop does sound more in tune with what you need, as it'll have the keyboard, screen, and has no need for an outlet. Black Friday is coming soon, you might be able to find a good deal there

Probably your best bet is looking into buying refurbished. Bought one in Feb for ?300 that runs it on med settings at 30 fps on a 1650 x 1050 monitor. Technically it can run it at 60 fps, but that tends to make the gpu and cpu hit 80c, which I don't think is healthy

Looking at the minimum specs, you can buy the Radeon HD 4850 for ~$20 used on Ebay, AMD Phenom X3 8650 used for $5 on Amazon. Looks like it will run just fine. You might want to replace that CPU with something better for a couple of dollars more.

Of course the video has modern hardware beside the 4850, but your performance won't be affected that much. Everything else isn't that expensive. 8gb ddr3 ram is ~$40, 600Watt EVGA PSU is ~$50, motherboard and cpu fan depends on what CPU you want to buy. Case is whatever you want that fits. You can go cheaper is you buy them used.
