I need new music

The title is pretty much explains it, I want some music that I don't already listen to on the radio tight hundred times a day and from what I can tell most people on the Escapist have quite the good taste in music so I'm asking you escapist what music should I get, No metal though (Speed Metal is fine) I'll try to listen to everyone's suggestions.
If it helps I like Rock, Jazz, Alternative, and Some sorts of pop like Atomic tom.

It's good but (Maybe I'm have just been swayed by rock too much) it seems like it's all build up for a awesome guitar solo and it never comes.
