I need your help saying goodbye, fellow Escapists!

It's the last day of summer camp and I work with kids from ages 6-14. This summer has been awesome, and I really am going to miss the kids and staff, and I would like to serenade everyone with a goodbye song on Friday for the last day of camp.

So...I need your help! What are some goodbye songs I could learn?

Keep in mind it has to be playable on acoustic guitar, so something with simple chords.

Also don't worry about being cheesy...the cheesier the better probably. So far "time of your life (good riddance)" by Green Day is what everyone has suggested but I'd rather not as I friggin hate that song lol.

Give me some good songs! Go nuts!

The one I always used was a slightly altered version of the song Country Roads by John Denver. Basically use places you will all be going home to and replace lines with things that were done at camp. Fairly easy song and was always received very well.

It's a day camp. So no actually camping really. It's at a community centre.

Heh, Good Riddance was an end-of-camp tradition at my camp. I hate it too, but I could never begrudge them it.

No I am in summer camp because I love working with kids and it's tons of fun! Also the counselors don't all have orgies when the kids go home...but I'll add that to the report for next year as a suggestion
