Well, i was having this problem too. (Guild wars)

After two weeks, I just got...bored. Plus with school in the mix, I'm sort of glad not to have a Gaming Console yet.

Frankly I haven't been play video games that much. I've been playing D&D. No t that that is much better I just find It more interesting. If you can't get off your PC find a friend that dosn't play video games and hang with them. See what they do for fun. You'll have a good time cause your with a friend and you'll be away from video games.

Back when I used to like playing mmorpgs a lot I could spend an entire day just playing them. Now I can't play one for more then an hour or so until I get bored.

Very rarely do I find myself playing games for an entire day anymore.

I'd suggest getting into tabletop gaming, its still just as nerdy but its social interaction that gets you out of your cave. Who knows, occasionally there is a sexy female nerd that would be willing to wield your +1 longsword.

Maybe taking up a new hobby would help? If you really enjoy it then you will spend less time on the computer, just be careful with whatever alternative you choose.

Just get more hobbies. Go for walks other than to just go to places. Gardening is cool or restoring an old car. Write something, read something, there's so many cool time filling things to do. Also, as a few people have already said, D&D is the shit when you have time to kill.

Aye but it was bloody fun to see the reactions and half of the users thinking we were banned and the other half thinking we weren't.

OT: Uh...come here a bit more, get lost in forum games, end up like me?

That comment made me chuckle, sir. Good show.

Depends, if you truly have no work or school keeping you busy then... Honestly I can't tell you! I always hang out with friends or play video games. If I died tomorrow, I would have no regrets.

I play videogames a lot, but with spring break coming up, I plan on hanging around with friends more then anything else.

Edit: just realized this was a totally useless post.

OT: Just do what I did. Find friends. Hang with them. Go see Clash of the Titans, Go get something to eat.

Since you're alive sir, I would propose that you already do have a life, and therefore it is greedy of you to wish for another one to go with the one you already have.

If you are dead, then I extend the most sincerest apology of your choice to you - fizzy, chalky or chewy?

OT: Basically I'd read a lot, or stay on here - normal people don't provide much in the way of stimulating conversation (unless it's 3:00 in the morning), plus vocalising your opinions can end in vivid and otherwise excellent explanations of the Quantum Theory of Generic Anthropomorphic Esoteric Desensitisation Regulation becoming slewed.

That's why everyone who knows something looks so much better when they lay it out in text.

If I'd spoken what I'd just written to you, you'd take me for a madman and attempt to castrate me. It's happened before.

I actually play Warhammer 40k and not D&D, but I seemed to draw a complete blank for a 40k innuendo... I suppose I could have said something about a powerfist.

Here's a link to the picture I posted as a thread a few days ago. Also pull the plug on all your gaming systems and don't you dare go back on!
