About 1/3 of the showgirls in Las Vegas are transexuals (pre and post-op) and, apparently, they also make up a substantial portion (1/3 or as much as a half, there are different amounts based on who is asked) of the most talented and best paid of them.
EDIT: I think romania's miss world entry was a pre-op transexual about 15 years ago. I consider it interesting but mostly meh. Their life, their business though I would consider it to be polite to mention it to potential partners.

I wouldn't have guessed that was originally a man at all. But if she's that beautiful now, one has to wonder what she looked like beforehand. More power to her, I can't imagine it was anything but terrifying announcing such a large thing. I don't think it matters what she is or what she was at all, honestly.
wow. i am usually pretty good at spotting transgendered people, but i would never have guessed she was formerly a man. never in a million years. (and i've seen some pretty attractive transgenders of either sex, so i'm not basing this on stereotypes.)

Good for her. Glad to see she's receiving support instead of hate. Thats something I would have never expected. Makes me happy.
Also glad to see she's doing well. Although I don't feel its right she had to hide it in the first place. Should have been able to come right out and say it. But sadly with the way the world is, that would probably have had bad results.
