I've been playing D&D for a few months now, but I'm not exactly knowledgeable enough to create theme-based custom builds. Anyone have any ideas?

In particular, I'm looking for a good Witcher build, a good one based off Megumin from Konosuba (and, as appropriate as it is, don't just say Fireball and nothing else, there's gotta be other Explosion-like spells, though I'm willing to accept a general Crimson Demon-styled one if not), a cleric-based Stand User, etc.

Theme focus: A whip-using paladin or ranger (Favored enemy undead) to Castlevania it up? You can smite on your whip-strikes if you're a paladin. Throw holy water and axes. It all works. You'd have to wear (Studded) leather armor to complete the look, but your Dex will be good if you're looking to use whips anyways.

Mechanical focus: Fighter Battlemaster with the Sentinel and Polearm Master Feat. If you want to flavor it, make him from your standard sword/sandals homoerotic militocracy in the vein of Sparta/rome.

Hmmmm, I'm not a DnD player but from my knowledge you need to be a minmaxer to the extreme of Evocation school of magic and use INT as dump stat but in a way that the only spells you have are either to make your magic stronger or to blow shit up, have abysmal stats in everything if it can raise your INT.
This is a case that in universe munchkin is the correct choice but will annoy the party to no end.

Bonus, to make Darkness you need as low Dex as humanely possible
Ehh, a better way I can conceive creating Darkness is to use the Great Weapon Master feat & roll low. Non-finesse melee weapons use strength for accuracy scores. Though I could also minimize dex to maximize con.

That spear user can also be an Eric Lecarde build as well, yes?

I don't see why not. Granted, parts of Polearm master are limited to slashing polearms, but a Glaive fits well enough.
