Yeah, most likely Activision or Ubisoft. And so, nothing would change. I don't think Valve would go after very much; they seem perfectly happy being a smaller company that puts out a game every two or three years.

Are you asking us which company would be likely to purchase them or which company we would like to purchase them?

Well that changes things.

I guess I'd like to see Bethesda take a few more studios under its wing. They seem to have a pretty good 'don't interfere greatly with out developers' policy, as far as I can tell.

I think Nintendo should buy PopCap. Peggle and Plants Vs. Zombies would fit right at home with Nintendo.

Bethesda or Bioware, since they're both large studios and could put use to EA's soulless drones and teach them how to feel again.

EDIT: Have you ever herped so hard you derped? I just did.

Best thing would be if EA's assets were split up among a bunch of different companies, Valve, Bethesda, Sony, Microsoft, Ubisoft, 2K, etc. That way all of the better companies grow a little, and none of them become some soulless behemoth by absorbing the entirety of EA.

I'd like to see Square Enix pick up EA's pieces if they were to fall. Though Zenimax would be a good choice, too.

I thought EA was just their publisher, but they still have their own studio.

Well that explains why I thought they would go perfectly with EA if they are EA, no wonder I had this uncanny aversion to Bioware since I hate EA. I'll still go cross them out in my original post.

Ok My choice would have been Valve. mostly because of Steam.
Valve isn't so much into the buying up assets thing as Bioware and Activision. They don't like to absorb devs as much as those two. They might grab one or two, but it really just isn't Valve's thing. They develop and publish their own games, and they don't really need much else with Steam as a constant source of income.

CD Projekt. There is no other correct answer.
