Diablo 3 and SWTOR does not have a release date is because they are directly competing with each other. EA is not trying to release it on the same day as one of the most anticipated games of, maybe. the entire year.

This makes me sad. I want to play both

Diablo 3 does not have a release date because Blizzard always releases their games when they feel that they're done.

The Old Republic doesn't have a release date because...I have no idea why. However, I am certain that it's not at all related to Diablo 3 since Diablo 3 is not an MMO, and the Old Republic is.

Diablo is a MMO? I've actually never played one, so I really don't know.

I don't think those two games are competing. I do know however that Blizzard tends to take forever to release their games. Look at Starcraft II as an example. It took them forever to release it and they only released the first campaign.

Agreed. StarCraft: Ghost needs to be released though, but to PCs and not to consoles. I think someone was already trying to do that via StarCraft II's custom games, but I haven't touched StarCraft II in ages because my computer is a piece of crap.

It's not, the OP has probably only played WoW, which is Blizzard's only MMO.

I would like to think that SWTOR does not have a release date because bioware knows two things.

1) the game is not yet finished and needs more work
2) that star wars fans are VERY VERY picky and they are trying to get the point across that this game will not be SWG But something better or at the very least different from it.

But I do very much want to play SWTOR and wish it would come out already. Diablo I can wait on, Played the first 2 and enjoyed them. I just think there is more to work with when it comes to SWTOR.
