Both are identical in EVERY conceivable way, strength, intelligence, paint job, etc. So how would the fight end and which one would be victorious?

Edit: Ok, even the environmental conditions are the same, even the space between the two robots facing each other are the same, even the two grandmothers in the crowd cheering them on are the same, all conditions are equal for both sides of the conflict.

And both robots are fighting because they both think of the other as a copy and...

I guess they'd beat each other to a pulp. Unless of course one of them happened to lose their footing in which case the other could take advantage. I suppose it would be a battle of attrition until chance happened to favour one or the other.

The one that doesn't start right next to the giant pit of electrified spikes.

None. If 100% identical they will keep going with no victor until thy both run out of power/wear down.
They would work on the same logic circuit and programming and thus they would act exactly the same.

Coin flip. Luck does exist, and plays it's own role in combat, and you can't control it. One would slip, or get damaged in the legs early, or who knows what, and the other would win.

I would say it would be a draw but I guessing the location where they are fighting will add factors to who will win.

At this point it would boil down to the people that maintain these robots :) A slight % in mechanical failure due to poor maintenance could tip the scale just ever so slightly. Also depends on the system they are operating with. They just going into battle and beating each other down or do they have strategic software installed that will try to get the upper hand.

Chaos theory. Since neither of the robots can be degraded at the exact same time in the exact same way, one is simply going to break down faster than the other, and therefore lose. Which one does, however, is anyone's guess.

Depends on the robots and circumstances involved.

Either the robots will destroy each other, or one will get lucky and destroy the other first. Or neither will be destroyed. With no information, there's no way to tell.

The question is so vague as to be meaningless.

The result is going to be entirely random.

Since both robots are identical in every way, their actions will be similar.

But, since they are seperate entities, what they do is not going to be identical. So, it will come down to random luck, environmental conditions...
Timing issues...

Basically, something unpredictable will determine which one goes down first.

What if one had super armor, and the other a repulsion beam?

...Your grasp of mathematics is amusing.

Did this even make sense in your head? I could interpret it several ways, but so far if this is all you had to say, none of them are flattering to you. Care to clarify what you actually meant b4 I jump to a conclusion?
