If you could break any law without legal repercussions, what would you do?

Title says it all. If you could break any law without worrying about legal ramification, what laws might you break and how/why? Obviously opting to break no laws is a totally viable option. The normal, immediate dangers that result from your actions are still in effect, btw. This means doing drugs can still kill you. Attempting to kill someone can still result in you getting killed from self defense. Robbing a place might get you attacked by a security guard or get the mob after you, etc. However, the police or any government run/funded group will never attempt to prosecute you or hurt you for your actions after they have been committed. They will, however, still do their jobs, and use potentially lethal force while a crime is being committed if it's deemed necessary. This means you can't go walking into the federal reserve and take everything without a fight, for instance. Think of it similarly to an extreme form of diplomatic immunity.

So what would you do?

Me personally?

well...

aww, who am I kidding? I do this anyway. (Kidding, please don't ban me)

I think most of us would do murder.
Just a guess though, It would indeed be tempting but I'd probably just be an arson and burn something, or someone >>

Oh, bullshit. Wanting to kill someone is not a natural inclination. Sure, yelling and shouting can be cathartic, but you can't draw a line, your common sense and will to live will do it for you.

And it makes me both happy and a little sad to know I can't be the first person to say "smoke weed" on the thread. Although it makes me more sad to know the first person up said arson and murder. What the crap?

Iunno man it's pretty tempting...
If you're gunna break the law may as well go big, you could smoke weed any other day.

What about social reprecussion. Like let's say i was to have sex with a 10 year old ( hypothetically , i am not a pedophile nor do i condone it ) . Sure i might not get prosecuted . But i sure as hell would be alienated by society or even worst hunted by normal people who want to take justice into their own hands.

Always as for my real answer . Murder easily , there are a good couple of people i'd like to take out . Then again i would have social repercussions . So i'd just rob a bank ( or any other establishment with a shitload of cash )at night when there are no security guards , and transfer a shitload of money into my account . That way there would be no social repercussion and no legal ones either.

The police will still attempt to get the money back. Like I said, they do their jobs. They're not just going to let you keep the money if they can help it. You'd have to be certain you could actually pull it off. If a security guard ends up shooting you, oh well. Also, there is always security at banks. Embezzling would probably be easier. That aside, no moral qualms about robbing folks?

As to the social repercussions, no matter what you did you wouldn't be put on a list or officially accused/charged by the police, so in that regard it might be easier to get away with things. They would stop you in the act, but even if they could prove it was you, there's nothing they could do afterwards. That's not to say it would be impossible for someone outside the law to find out though, so in that regard, yeah, risky business.

A financial crime such as embezzlement or stealing from a bank, they seem to be the most profitable. Then again, I might not actually need this protection seeing as most of them manage to get away with it.

Punch a police officer in the face, though that may be because a policeman just stopped me and my friend while we were going to the store asked us for a bribe and then accused us of being drug addicts, even though neither of us even drink, what a fucking asshole, I just wanted to get down and punch him in the face but my friend wouldn't let me, though since we had done nothing wrong and my friend refused to give him money he let us go, because he had nothing, but seriously fuck the police, all they do is ask for bribes, and when you actually need them and call them they take 5 hours to arrive, they're completely useless.

I would probably want something simple like being able to get away with speeding. I'm not saying that I want to drive at 100MPH in a school area, but I would like a bit of common sense, for example, if there is a fairly straight bit of road or on a motorway, I want to be able to put my foot down without the fear of being caught and points on my license.

I'd probably like to buy and use drugs without it being a criminal offense. I don't take drugs anymore, but I still think its a nice idea.

Yeah, murder sounds like a good idea at times...

Although speeding would be just as fun, in the right car....

Otherwise, not sure... Although I could make all wishes come true with theft... Steal billions of dollars... then buy my way into anything...

So, out of those three, I think I'd go with theft...

No fucking way. People keep saying this shit but I'd bet a shitload they're posing. If they aren't, they're fucking sick human being. Even if I brought myself to do that it'd fuck me up mentally for the rest of my life.

Murder being illegal is not the main reason people don't commit it.

OT: Nothing I don't already do lolololol

A lot of people saying murder... have you really thought about that? Pretty sure most of us couldn't live with that on our minds regardless of the lack of legal smackdown or how much you hate that person.

I think I would be keen to just blast through the country in Veyron or something, just really open the car up and fly around the place at super speeds. That would mean;

- Car theft
- Speeding
- Reckless Driving
- Petrol theft at numerous petrol stations

Not bad for a Saturday afternoon.

Probably nothing serious. I am raised in a matter so I have no desire to commit any crimes. Of course there's the wish to get rich so I'd probably go for something to gain an obscene amount of money then use it to secure my future happiness and possibly support research with excess cash.
