It seems that every game is critisized in some way or another. So I wonder how you lot would make a Game. Tell us about the plot, the gameplay mechanics, FPS or Platformer, etc.
Mine would be a FPS, with an open world and lots to do, but I'm still thinking about the rest....
Well, of course I thought about my own game at some point.
That would be an action RPG (closest I can think of to this would be Mass Effect), with one plot divided to be told from each of team members perspective. At the beginning of the game, you'll choose between two available heroes (with few more to unlock during the game), one would be an expert in guns, while other is a great swordsman, and you'll follow HIS point of view in the story. What do I mean? I mean, if both characters will have to split for some reason, you'll get to know what happened with your guy, and whatever interesting plot-important things he'll get to know, but you won't ever know what the other did... Unless you'll play as him. The ultimate goal, is to make an RPG where everyone in the team is equally important (I'm tired of Revan/The Exile/Commander Shepard/other great hero, and bunch of NPC twats who, yeah, have some personality and backstory, but they only serve for main character to resolve them for bonus EXP [sidequests], obligatory romance quest or one-shot ass saver as seen lately in ME2 [/rant]), have their own goal, their finished story has sense of it's own, while many mysteries you didn't learn about are waiting for you in other character's playthrough. The same with unlockable characters (many possibilities. Sniper, Brawler, Combat Medic etc.). They'll be available as soon as you'll pass certain point of the plot (but only as a 'Start new game as...' option), whose story may put some more light on the plot etc.
Well, that was just a main concept. I also thought about the plot of course (those character ideas are here for a reason

), but it's too long already to start talking about it here, especially considering at least 5 different plot branches thanks to at least 5 characters.
