IF you could remake one show from your childhood, what would it be?

Come on people, all these shows these days are not really good. I remember you had to get up in like 4 in the morning when I was young to watch all the good shows. I would love to bring back all those shows today to show what a really good show is, instead of the crap that is on.

I mean i would like to see a remake of The Real Ghostbusters or Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century.

Thundercats. I grew up on Thundercats, and I still love it.

Sesame street without all the damn new characters.

OK, honestly, I've got nothing against the whole foreign idea, I love the concept of teaching it to children. However, none of the new characters they've introduced are appealing to me and they seem to be there just to serve some children's requisite foreign language input quota. Can't we just have Grover swinging in going "AGUA!" and then explaining that it is the same thing as water?

In fact, can't we just have more Grover and less Elmo, Zoe and... whoever else is in there now?

AGH SESAME STREET RANT!

Either this or Bob Ross's Happy Painting Hour. Probably not what it is called, but I don't care. More Bob Ross!

Firefly. Sorry, had to be said ;)

Really though, I'd say The Real Ghostbusters and anything Scooby Doo (although I kind of liked all the remakes they're still doing now, like 'What's New, Scooby Doo?').

I would remake tom and jerry and make it where instead of the cat using the double barreled shot gun he'd use an uzi

EDIT: Run from that you fucking mouse

C.O.P.S. was awesome. I wouldnt mind seeing a newer version of that as long as they kept the old formula intact (minimal violence, each episode a new moral lesson)

To be honest there isn't anything I would like to see remade, mainly because I can't shake the feeling that whoever remakes it would cock it up royally and taint my memories of the original.

Ren and Stimpy
Rocko's Modern Life

But honestly, the number one show I would like to see be remade would be "Are you Afraid of the Dark?"

If they could keep it like it used to be then I would say Mighty Max (that show was pretty awesome).

Hell, I'd watch it (and I'm an adult by legal standards).

Eerie Indiana. But the two main kids would have to be adults though. You can't replace those characters with other actors.
