Lets say you need 50 points to become a master, for e.g. black belt, CEO, Michelin chef, Nobel Prize winner.

On the other hand you need less points to be proficient other stuff, 5 points to graduate with a degree, 5 points to become a parent, learn programming, become proficient in wakeboarding.

1 or 2 points to simply do stuff, 1 point for each country you visit, 2 points for every partner you had.

What would you choose? A life dedicated to perfection or dip your finger in every pie, become a Jack of all trades master of none.

I've been pretty much spending points on the low end stuff in my 25 years of life, Engineering degree, been in the army, sailor, aikido blue-gold, traveled to Iran, learning programming and game design while working in a bank. Mish mash of activities with a wide interest in videogames (duh), literature, film, Japanese culture, philosophy, comics etc. Don't ever think I'll actually master anything in this lifetime

100 points in love making.
Ah, but you forget the Charisma slot. What good is skill when you can't use it?
I think word of my prowess will make the ladies come to me. Well, I hope at least.

But then you'd be really out of shape, your organs including that 'one' would probably not be working, and you'll have problems leaving the house much less attracting the ladies

If my real life persona was awarded 100 exp points, I'd max out charisma and bartering first, then use what was left over for health and luck. In my experience, you can accomplish a lot in real life by being good at talking people into giving you what you want. You are also a lot happier if you are healthy. A little luck never hurts either. If you have all of that, the rest pretty much takes care of itself.

50 skill points in musicianship and 50 points in social skills
I think I'm going to go along with you on this one.

Mastering social skills = sexy. Mastering music = sexy. Combine and you get 100$ sexy.

Agreed. No pom could ever be as awesome as me. It would be insulting.
Agreed, racism is the most awesome thing in the world. Also, half my family are Australian, my friend, so the use of Aus slang like 'pom' won't confuse me. Nice try though, convict.

Oh! See what I did there?

In all seriousness, though, I'd spend most of my points on social-skills, writing, and some sort of martial-art. Social skills because they are invaluable, writing to a ridiculous degree where I shame J.K. Rowling's bank-accounts, and martial-arts just because there's something hilarious about going from creative, social, nice-guy to Bruce Lee in a split second.

50 in electric guitar and 50 in music writing. The rest will unfold itself.
Sounds like a pretty good idea... Except that because of my personal oppinion, I would go for bass guitar. I just like the sound more.

100 into luck.
If 50 makes you a nobel prize winner, I'll win lotteries left and right.
Then I could comfortably go on being (a luckier) me.

New Zealand actually. Pom is NZ slang. So feel free to insult the convicts all you wish. ^_-
Ha, really? I didn't realise it was New-Zealand originated? I thought it was from the Aus when the boats came and dropped them off with the old "Prisoner's of her Majesty" written on the side; POM. I actually want to research into that slang now...

And New Zealand's pretty bulletproof from where I'm standing, really. Can't really say anything about a country you never really took the time to learn about.

TO TEH INTARWEBS!
