You've just won the exact amount of money needed to buy that thing. Yes that one. The thing you've always wanted. Not needed. Wanted.

What is it?

For myself it's the entire Ultimate spdierman collection. I do truly enjoy the issues I've read from parker to Morales, but jesus it's pricey to buy now (a downfall to being so successful). It would provide me with muchos entertainment.

so basically if you had the money to-

Just tons of VSTs. Some stuff from 8dio, EastWest or Native Instruments. My music is heavily soundtrack-influenced anyway so being able to have convincing-sounding orchestra sounds would be wonderful.

WANTS.. hmm
* Build a tongue waterslide from my roof to the pool.
* Build my very own Lego themepark with my own scrambler ride:
* Build a padded airbag room with a giant strong fan blowing straight down from the ceiling.
* Design my own PvP MMORPG.
* Design my own vibrating dining room chairs.
* Build a giant cylinder aquarium that you view from downstairs, but then upstairs you feed them from the top of the pond.
* Buy a massive 3d printer.
* Build a metal and gas sculpture Museum.
* Build my own future city.
* Build my own weather modification system.

There I just tried to keep it to a simple 10..

Something simple...like a Doom Fortress on Mars, with my own army of color-coordinated minions and a giant pet Canadian Lava Goose. My own arch-nemisis wouldn't be out of the question, but I figure the pathetic nations of Earth will send their best after I start my master plan!

My mind immediately went to the most powerful computer I could possibly buy so I wouldn't have to worry about upgrading anymore. Maybe this can include the desk, monitor, and extra little accessories. But then I thought that, in reality, PC hardware keeps upgrading every year, if not every half year, and it would probably be "outdated" within a few years at most.

So then I thought about a house. Just...fully paid for. Practical. Can't really see many downsides to that.

But then I thought about setting up my own business. But then I remembered that I have little knowledge of skill to maintain any kind of business.

So...I don't know. How about I invest it into research for everyone's very own harem of lusty, busty, neko girls?

I guess that would be these several Gundam (RG 00 Gundam Qunta, HG Kampher, GM Cannon 2 Grimgerde and MG Tallgese and Buster Gundam) and LBX models. In saying so even if I did had the money, I would still have second doubt on buying them (I don't have the space to display them all).

Oh wait. This is Off Topic, isn't it?

I guess I'll be the resident gun nut today.

FN PS-90

Because I'm a big Stargate whore, and because I've heard nothing but good things about this rifle. Can't really go hunting with it or anything, but it seems to be a very fun target rifle.

Supposedly retails for $1500, but I've never seen one for less then $2400.

Barrett Model 95

Yah, yah. But come on - .50 BMG. 8-10 grand though.

Would a year long vacation across the globe count?
Like having enough money stored away to both travel the world in style but also pre pay all the bills.

A good car to replace my old one, or tuition in a good video game design/script college.

Which do you think would be less costly?

A skyscraper in ... probably London. With enough money to revamp the architecture into something resembling a Gothic-revival tower both inside and out, and give it a menacing air with the right type of lighting.

Populated exclusively with the most menacing bankers, lawyers, and politicians in the city. With a constant Venetian masquerade ball on the penthouse floor. But an evil looking Venetian masquerade ball. With a mountain of various narcotics and luxury goods for the patrons to take advantage of.

A temple of excess. Stereotypical illuminati stuff on pseudo public spectacle. I want conspiracy theorists to pretend like my tower is basically a Hell Mouth for demons to populate the world. I would also offer people a million dollars and free stay if they act as my employees to aid in promoting my evil look to the world, and leave 'clues' as to my evilness across the world and my demonic-influenced nature (though nothing criminal or bad, mind ... just look sinister and evil).

And then I would run for parliament. I would also pay a fake conspiracy theorist to periodically release a 'secretly recorded' videotape of me performing a staged ritual. As if the head priestess of a cult. I have always wanted to be a head priestess or sorceress of a cult.

How much is the price tag on that?

Obscure Isaac Asimov books. I'm not talking SF; I've already got all of those. I'm talking about the limerick collection, the mystery stories, the Azazel stories, the scientific essays... That kind of thing.

I just wanna travel as much as possible. Otherwise most of my whims are either books or games, none of which are that hard to get.

Well, up until last weekend, I thought I'd spend my next check on an Oculus Rift. Now, not so much. But if I could buy anything, it'd be 100 acres with a log cabin smack in the center, with enough leftover to have taxes paid for life, and only enough land cleared out for a driveway and a hardline. I've had issues with neighbors disapproving, violently, of the animals I keep so I'd then want a full pack of Russian caucasians to patrol the grounds. They're large, loyal dogs, so long as you establish yourself as packleader when they are pups. Oh, they look like this -

I'm having trouble conceptualizing something that I would want when there are things that I really need...I need shelves and a new dresser but would also like to have the money for such. I need a new car but would also really like one (not necessarily NEW but you know...a car that's a few years old rather than a decade).

I think I'll take the easy answer and just say "either a PS4 or a computer that can run modern games".

Don't have any particular object of desire. Hmm...to push the boat out a bit; Something along the lines of a music mansion that is open to the public to come in, explore, experiment with many musical instruments and are free to listen, record, try anything creative with sound and performance, even dress/makeup/costume design rooms. I'd have some in-house veteran musicians wandering around giving advice and whatnot. Also an in-house orchestra, if we are not setting a limit on funds here. Almost like a larger, more communual Jools Holland setup, except he's confined to the basement bar as I'm not certain he is a creature of the light and might scare away the guests and budding young minds. How realistic are we intending here?

Probably a few Amazon cards to buy as much stuff as I want. Also, a pair of those mechanical cat ears and a mechanical tail from Japan. Just because.

I'm inclined to say this:
But I get the feeling I'm aiming a little high. Also, you never mentioned enough money to look after it, so...

On a lower budget, a Lotus Elise would be awesome.
