If I were a boss, I would have the ability to control and absorb all forms of darkness, including the darkness in every beings heart, an instantaneous regeneration factor, and the ability to adapt to any situation. My personality would be a being who believes that darkness is the source of true power and believes positive emotions such as happiness and love are what make people weak, physically and mentally. My appearance would be a multi form with my first form being similar in appearance to alpha Hydranoid from the original Bakugan. Second stage would be a giant shadow made of the evils of man and demon. The final form would be a knight covered head to toe in an armor made of the sins of man and demon, wielding a curve sword for close range, a whip for mid range and duel wield cannons for far range. My plan would be to absorb the hate, insanity, suffering and pain of man and demon to overthrow god and become an omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscience and omnipresence being.

I can't think of one without being really cliche . The only two i can think of is the mirror match . Like in final fantasy 4 when cecil had to fight himself in order to become a paladin ( there's more to it than that but wtv ).

And the second one is an incarnation of a loved one who you wouldn't normally harm . Like that one boss from Legend of Dragoon ( for the 10 people who aactually remember that game ).

So i guess my answer is , i'm the boss that reflects your inner most weakness and use it against you . Needless to say , my form changes based on individual weakness , and my personality revolves around deceit.

I would probably be something like Psycho Mantis and have abilities that would fuck with the main character's mind. Such as reversing controls, taking control of people's minds, altering the environment in weird ways. You would have to beat me in a really unorthodox way.

Appearing as a lovecraftian monster, I would have an insane block/evade ratio, but low resistances/immunities.

Average physical attack, but high crit rates and penetrating flare/almighty magic. One of my special attacks has a high rate of causing confuse, mute, and zombie.

Since I know how many video game antagonists end, I would be the one that proves to be an annoying pain in the arse to the hero, profiting mightily from it, until the point where it no-longer becomes sustainable. I shall then reverse my tone, and make myself invaluable to the hero. They'll hate me, but they would be in even bigger trouble if they got rid of me.

My powers would be 'summon minion' and 'run away.'

The arrogant type that gives the hero a complete ass-whooping the first time we meet, and leaves them with a permanent injury before they can escape me. The stronger the hero, the better, and I would probably have abilities that reflect theirs except are stronger/I use them more effectively. By the endgame the hero has become leagues stronger and more skilled, then we can have a more even match. I can even use both hands this time.

But I won't cry. Because in his drive to defeat me, save his loved ones and stop the apocalypse, the hero has become a terror even greater than I, thus there is no purpose to my existence any longer. So let's meet again, and fight again, in the next life... *Burns to ashes*
