If you were in Aliens, who would you take with you and why?

My dad and I were watching Aliens (great movie) and once the shit hit the fan and people started dying, we started talking about who we would want with us were we in that situation.

My dad said that he would want Riddick along with him because...well...he's Riddick. But then you'd have to worry about whether or not Riddick would kill you before the aliens did.

I was going to say "Marcus Fenix" from Gears of War, but I figured that his chainsaw bayonette wouldn't mix too well the acidic blood of the aliens. So I went with Master Chief instead.

We went back and forth on the subject for a while, and now I'm looking for your input.

What character (can be from any movie, work of literature, series, etc.) would you bring along with you if you were in the movie Aliens? What powers or skills would they contribute that could benefit your chances of survival?

i would take a jedi. the lightsaber would negate the effects of acid blood by cauterising the wound instantly, plus their super-tuned reflexes would make them faster than any facehugger.
In all honesty, though, i'd take the president of the USA. after all,he has authorisation to the nukes of the whole country.

A Jedi is a pretty good idea. But you'll need a Sith Lord, not some goody-two-shoes Jedi Knight who'll ponder morality at the first sign of danger.

Optimus Prime

I couldn't help but laugh at the thought of Optimus Prime on the ship in aliens. Kudos for that idea.

Though I hate the guy, I'd probably go with Superman, as his smarmy "I'M SO GOOD EVERYONE LOVES ME" nature would make him pretty damn dedicated to keeping me alive.

A lot of the ideas in this thread, like Predators, Alex Mercer, Dath Vader etc wouldn't really work, because why the hell would they want to risk their necks to save your asses?
They'd be more than happy leaving you for dead whilst figuring their own way out of the scenario.
