Pretty straight forward i think.
But just in case: I If you were in the game Psyconauts, and you were to enter your own subconscious, what would it look like?
-
I'm not sure about mine, but I know there'd be a greyscale.

EDIT: I've thought about it and I'm adding on.
The world would be split, and they'd mirror each other, so if something is white on one side its black on the other.
The floor, and occional walls would be suspended in a black and white porgatory.
The floor would have a checked pattern and twist all other the place leading away from the atrium, where everything revolves around. The halls would lead to different rooms that contain different memories, things I've learned, emotions, and baggage
ANOTHER EDIT: The deeper you get into the dark side the hall ways will start having smoke drifting through starting with cigerette smoke, then pot, and at the deepest smoke from a crack pipe. The people of the dark side will start forming scars and become more malnerished and disfigured. The white side of corse is opposite and clean, where everyone is happy, healthy and strong
LAST EDIT: At the center of the Atrium is well my subconscious-self. Able to be anywhere in the mess in a second, and is eveywhere in his own mine. He's constandly haunted by what is in either side and stays in the atrium trying to ignore the mess

Oh ya, and the people on the dark side are as twisted as the floor, and are more calm and collected on the white side, but always showing sign of their other half.

Everyone's true intentions would be written all over their bodies and everything would be made of glass.

What each thing symbolizes:
1. I never trust people
2. It shows how fragile I really am.

First thing that came to mind is a kid in a dark room staring out of a window where everyone is happy and there isn't a worry in the world...hmmm?

I wonder what that mean?

It would be ___ked up, half innocent and regular and half violent and bloody.
ok maybe not the right words, just evil will do I suppose; everyone having a dark secret evil.

both halves would be twisted into one, combining everything to be that of a nightmare.

You would never know what to trust and what to kill.

Throw in my want to create and destroy and you've got something fun.

Some weird combination of a bunch of tokusatsu, half a dozen mecha shows, and pretty much every awesome idealistic thing you could cram in there. So, like Lungfishopolis, except less lungfish and more giant robots.

A giant old-school, black ball with a fuse, bomb. Little psychological sparks from reactions to everything try to run from the bottom of the thing to the top, and my censors are firemen. Everything else is inside the bomb. And it's awesome.

oooh I like this,

-things would be disoriented
-Television screens would be floating around everywhere showing random things from my trademark smileyface to random images
-everyone would wear a Respirator mask and cowl to conceal their identity but normal clothes
-I would be represented by basically what my avatar looks like.
-strange creature (ex.a banana in a spider wheelchair with a robot arm with a clown sock puppet on the end of it) would roma my mind
-my interpretation would be different at times. sometimes hed be smart, sometimes arrogant, sometimes evil, sometimes shy, to represent how my mind varies.

that about sums it up

May i copy and paste the description i've already wrote up for one such thread? I've abused the rule of symbolism quite heavily for that one.

Now let me think. My mind is pretty unpredictable, and constantly churns out new ideas - so i guess subconciousness would be like this:

Some kind of gigantic, old-school factory made of red brick hangs on a chunk of land over the ocean, connected to sprawling mainland's cliffy edge only by a small-ish drawbridge for cars and two even smaller ones for train tracks running onto the hovering island, then back again.[footnote]Symbolic. I don't like reality all that much. I can almost completely dedicate my mind to internal work by "raising the drawbridge".[/footnote] The sky is in constant change - right now it's pristine and blue, in five minutes it's a storm with rain. Other five minutes later fog appears, and it starts to snow. [footnote]Symbolic. "Sky of clear thinking", "storm of ideas", and "fog in the brains" (loss of concentration) respectively.[/footnote]

Factory itself has weatherwanes and windmills which start to spin wildly every time a storm is coming. Some sewage pipes stick out of underlying rock, dropping waste into the ocean. [footnote]Symbolic of all my ideas that are too stupid/crazy/whatever, and get rejected early on.[/footnote] There's a huge trainyard with trains constantly coming from outside world, getting loaded with stuff, and going back out. [footnote]Symbolic of "small talk" i do and me commenting on things.[/footnote] The inside of a factory is a mish-mash of conveyor belts, various crazy industrial automatons, pipes and connectors, whatever. One parts of the factory produce insane weapons, others make Cool Cars, and some others are workshops occupied with robot artists (complete with brushes and berets) drawing various pictures. The factory is also full of various visual puns and seemingly random things lying around.

The character representing me lives in a building in the center of a factory. Currently he is in the rooftop garden. Next to him are a looking glass observing the mainland, [footnote]Symbolic. I'm pretty observant, but i observe from great distance.[/footnote] a telephone to control the factory, a typewriter and a painting he works on from time to time. In the house below of particular note is a living room, where six Lombaxes play a nice game of STRIP GLOBAL THERMONUCLEAR WAR cards. If you ask the avatar who are these guys, he'll say: "My guests - i know they basically live here now, but they're so cool! I'd rather keep them." Behind one large blast door with TF2 logo on it (i'm a fan) lies a small War Room, with big board and plans to take over the world - but those plans are drawn in crayon. [footnote]Which means i didn't really think them through.[/footnote]

There's one thing to note about enemies - there's only a bit of censors running around, but the environment is much more dangerous. The final boss is a flaming phoenix or dragon [footnote]Which means someone pissed "real-me" off.[/footnote] which begins to tear up the factory, and Raz has to use the emergency cryo-systems (gigantic extinguishers spewing liquid nitrogen) to freeze it.

Oh, and the level's music would be fairly energetic. Jazz, classic rock-n-roll, maybe speed-metal for boss battle.
I dare everyone to make a description as stupidly detailed as mine.

Probably similar to the comic book stylings of Max Payne.

That and a shitload of doors that don't go anywhere.

It would be extremely clattered and disorganised. Think the complete opposite of Sasha Nien's brain.

There would be 2 sides to the world. One side would be a sunny medow with green grass and flowers. And the other side would be a dark spooky forest, filled with dead trees. A side for each of my two personalitys.

A constantly changing, hectic wasteland. The inhabitants would not have names, because they would change constantly, and become meaningless. People would tell the truth (which would change), do and say what they want (which would change), and act how they want to. (again, subject to change.)

So I guess the level would randomize whenever entered.
