Well people.
I've spent the last two days lurking around on steam, Direct2Drive, here and the general google hits. I am so very much bored. I NEED a game to satisfy my needs. This is going to be difficult though because I'm a bastard really. I don't know what I want.
Let me tell you a story of my gaming habits the past couple o' weeks.
It all started in a small apartment in the peaceful town of Fredericia (disregard that).
A poor soul sits at his computer, tears running down his cheeks. A beautiful, loving girl asks him: "what is wrong?" and the poor souls responses with "my prepaid gametime is up, spent, used, over!" She tries to comfort him, "you can level my mage if you want to".
But deep down she knows he doesn't want her mage, he wants his own.
Days passed by and he starts playing other games. The first game to feel his wrath was Battlefield Bad Company 2. This time he thought it would be fun to play in a tougher difficulty, but he knew all the levels and where the enemies hid in ambush so he got no challenge. Then he figured he'd give multiplayer a go, but his blood starts boiling whenever a tubenoob fragged him with a 40mm.
Next came Neverwinter Nights 2.
He thought it would be fun to play through as a palemaster. A commander of the undead. But he learned what he already knew, the game was not meant for spellcasters. Phrases like "you cannot rest while enemies are nearby" infuriated him.By his 16th level he was fed up and gave up. Portal, Borderlands, BF1943 and Spore all give him a couple of hours gaming each, but none of them could scratch his itch. His APB beta was useless, the game was unbalanced.
Dragon Age had nothing to offer either. He had already completed origins and awakening three times each. One for each core class.
And now his sad tale ends where it began. Infront of a screen typing a forum post. He seeks help!
I need a game fellow escapists!!! I want something that can entertain me like NWN1/2 and TES3/4
But I don't want some mainstream bull like Just Cause 2 and all that bile. Please oh please help me. I'm so bored, and no, real life is not an option!
