I'm looking for a game

Now this is annoying as I don't have too many details because I haven't even seen this game since I was a child but here goes. I'm pretty sure it was for the sega saturn (it /maybe/ was for the sega CD) you could switch your character at will between several different characters one of which was a birdman type character, it was an RPG with slightly cartoony graphics from a top down perspective and that's about all I can remember.

I'm not holding out too much hope but if anyone has any ideas that'd be great I don't know why but I've been struck by sudden nostalgia and I loved the game but can barely remember anything about it.

I never had a sega saturn but I found a nifty tool that lists all the Sega Saturn games and you can search them and even their covers

Thanks everyone for your help I found it using that search site gberney put up the game was mystaria/blazing heroes. Thanks again for helping me solve that little nostalgia puzzle
