For they will all be left to gather dust when Halo Reach comes out.

The games I'm playing right now serve two purposes, to keep me entertained and to speed time to 14 September (the day Reach comes out). Then I'll be spending the next few month on Reach; going through Campaign, Forging, playing custom games with friends and the occasional online match.
Mostly I feel sorry for Halo 3. Only if I feel nostalgic, will I play it again.

So again, I'm sorry to all the games that I'm currently playing. You'll only last until Halo Reach comes out.

To keep the topic going, is there a game that got you excited (maybe a bit hyped) or you simply can't wait to come out and must play now?!

Mafia 2. And Starcraft 2. I'm trying to find something that can distract me from trying to construct a time machine so I can get Mafia 2 right now.

Pretty much the only game I'm waiting for is this one:

When it comes out all my other games will be put on hold until I complete what is sure to be a classic.

Jokes aside, Bioshock 2. A lot of people whined about it being unnecessary or not as good as the original. To hell with them I say! Since playing the first one the only thing I wanted was to be a Big Daddy and drill stuff. I got what I wanted and I couldn't be happier.

Dead rising 2. Dead rising 2. Before long, I'll need to be hooked up to a life support machine, delivering a drip feed of images and videos of the game. I can't wait. It looks like everything I wanted from a sequel to the original, and more. I doubt very much, I'll be on anything else once I get it.

Mafia 2, really.
The first one was phenomenal (On PC), so I'm pretty psyched about number 2.
I've got it pre-ordered, and fully paid for already. So all I have to do is walk in, wave around my receipt, grab it, and walk out!
I'm pretty excited.

Oddly enough I'm not looking forward to any game right now. The only one I'm curious about at the moment is RAGE. The last game I was looking forward to was Call of Pripyat, and it for some reason decided to rub it's taint on my PC and laugh, regardless of the fact that I could run Crysis in 1280x1024 with everything maxed. I loved STALKER: Shadows of Chernobyl, and while it ran shittily at times, it still ran well most of the time. So I figured with all of the touted advances in the engine COP would run well. Not quite. I did pick up Borderlands on the steam sale this week, and so far it's been pretty damn fun. However it feels like I'm playing a BETA RAGE, and judging by how excited I was about Doom 3, and how let down I was by it, I'm not expecting much from RAGE. To be fair, I felt the same way about Quake 2. Id really needs to rehire John Romero.

Once Mii Party comes out all my other games are going in the trash since obviously that will be the greatest game of all time.

When Guild Wars 2 comes other games will have to wait.
This, and Bioshock : Infinite. I liked Rapture but I always felt that Bioshock was more about the ideals that made Rapture what it was than Rapture itself.

I'm stupidly excited about Reach as well and New Vegas just as much. TFU2 might actually turn out to be great as well. There are quite a few games coming out between now and xmas and I can't wait for most of them

Guild Wars 2 looks good. Very good in fact. Brink also caught my eye. Then there's Homefront, Dead Space 2, Civ5, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Diablo 3, BlackOps and MoH.

And and obviously New Vegas.

Muh. TES V is the only game I'm truly hyped about, I've been waiting for it since I finished TES IV: Oblivion for the first time. Almost all the games I've played in between then and when TES V is released will have been games I played to keep occupied and entertained until TES V. I did, however, enjoy some of the games I've played quite a lot so just calling them a filler game wouldn't be entirely fair.

Yet tho, TES V for me =3.
