go here first http://www.chick.com/reading/tracts/0046/0046_01.ASP

I only recently found this comic even though it has apparently been around for decades, I read it expecting a joke or sarcastic "quote marks" in every new pannel, but after reading it I had to read it again to make sure I didnt miss the joke and then i spent some time contemplating it looking for some arty high brow reference to something, and then i realised that they are serious.

did you laugh? i want to hear your review of this strip.

You want to hear my review. It does not exist. It's scare-mongering propaganda aimed at kids... and I didn't laugh.

It's just an old Christian propaganda comic talking about the 'dangers' of DND.
As a Christian who enjoys DND, I find it both ridiculous and hilarious.

This is vaguely familiar, If I remember right this was a comic taking D and D and making It out to be scary, It was still relatively unknown and there was fear, this was over exaggerating that fear.

Of course they're serious. It's a comic posted on a website that has been "publishing cartoon gospel tracts and equipping Christians for evangelism for over 40 years". Nothing more than baseless propaganda from the religious right.

That said, if you're looking for some laughs, might I suggest, along the same vein, The Truth For Youth [http://www.thetruthforyouth.com/]. The "rock music" one is my favourite.

It's a shame that people do take these kinds of things seriously, though.

Wait, did they burn her?
That's what I got from that.

Burned, for playing D&D. Ironic.

EDIT: Wait, just read above again. Fair enough, but I prefer my version where she got burned.
Haha, rock music is occult paraphernalia.

Can we just cut American Christians off from putting stuff on the internet? As a Christian myself, it'd improve the rep of us all if we didn't have shit like that pumping into the system.

That's an old strip, but the Christian right still likes to trot it out for the uninformed. It was made in a time when folks had no real idea what D&D was, and now it's just used by a select few Christians who like to push their own agenda over the truth of the matter.

Now that is funny.

I can't even begin to imagine how anyone could take this shit seriously...
