Im stuck in Cave story. please help me

ive went to the destroyed Egg corridor and found Kazuma. He gave me a choise of either get avay with him or go and save the mimigas i chose to save the mimigas now im at the plantasion where the mimigas are. Now i have no idea of where im soupose to go please help!

"Cave story" sounded like some kind of campaign for a game or something when I got here. Luckily I saw the link that was posted directing to wikipedia, but the description could use some better explanation.
