In need of a new game

I know these are posted all the time but normally I find your guys input to actually be helpful. So I need help picking a new game. I have in mind right now Dead Space 2, BulletStorm or possiblly Homefront when it comes out in a couple weeks. I realize that you probablly cant speak for Homefront sense it's not out yet but I wasn't sure if the othe two are worth getting. I've tried the Demos and I liked the original Dead Space but Im just not sure if they're worth the money. I'm really just needing something to pass the time till later in the year when all the really good games like Dragon Age 2, Rage, Brink and Skyrim come out. Please help, I would really like to know if any of these games are going to be any good before I go blowing 60 dollars on them. Or if you can think of any other games that would be worth getting I would love to hear about them.

Black Ops...... just kidding. I haven't played Dead Space 2 or BulletStorm so I can't recommend them. Get Metro 2033, quite an underrated game with great atmosphere.

If you have a wii, get Okami. One of the greatest games ever made.

get viva pinata, you can get it for less then 5 dollars in some places and its always nice to try something new.

Borderlands...it will take you some time, and it's still a great game even a year later

Borderlands GOTY, You'll get an absurd amount of content there and if you've got any friends to play with you'll have a blast.

Vanquish is pretty good and you can find it on Ebay for ~25$, also Darksiders you can pick up New for 18$ on ebay.

It is rare for me to consider any game worth $60, and a month or two after the initial release, the market agrees with me...so if you are really hurting for a game go to whatever marketplace you buy games from and get any of the ones a few months old that are now like $20. I don't know what your tastes are other than an obvious love for the FPS, so I'm probably not the one to suggest a game, but really, who other than yourself is qualified?

I dont really have a love of First Person Shooters that just happens to be out right now thats caught my interst. Their not bad as long as their not pointless shooters. I actually prefer RPGs but Im pretty open to trying any type of game. Vanquish is another one that Ive been looking into. I don't believe I have really heard anything on Metro 2033. I have Borderlands and I love it and Okami is one of my favorite last gen games.

Trust me-Metro 2033 is NOT a pointless shooter. It is one of the better games on the market and I think it is only $40. And you said you wanted DA2, which comes out next week. Have you considered renting a game until Tuesday?

Dead space is 2 is definetly awsome so far plus there is the multiplayer which isnt too bad but the single player is beatifully awsome (so far anyway...)

I would pick Dragon Age 2 then of the ones you listed personally. But that is a preference thing. It's on my top 5 of the year.
