This is just mind blowing... I can't begin to imagine how long long it must have taken these guys to build this masterpiece.


It took me 4 hours to build my crappy little house in the side of a hill... this must have been a gargantuan undertaking.

Have you ever seen anything like it? Anyone know how long something like this would actually take??

Wow, crazy. The bit that really got me was when it goes into one of the main buildings and it has detail inside, it's not just an empty shell!

I don't know if it's by the same people but a pretty impressive damn was made, very big and good attention to detail. I assume it was made by the same people as the video style is very similar but I don't know.

damn, some dude must be pretty convinceing to get all those people to build that...if i were to geusstimate id say if they planned it right before hand and had about 10-20 they built that in 2-4 weeks. maby less.

It says on the Youtube description that it took them 11 hours of work over 4 days.

I'm impressed by this anyway, the shots after the time lapse show that it's actually really detailed,not just empty husks. Particularly impressed by the cathedral. Makes me want to hurry up and finish my city... so much time lost to Minecraft!
