InFamous vs. Prototype

I AM a sony fanboy and I prefer prototype, bigger sandbox, more fun to navigate, better combat, everything you could want from a sandbox game (I love infamous too, but I go back and play prototype for reasons OTHER than trophies)

ALSO: this kind of thing got old a while back, use the search bar and keep up with the times... Welcome to the Escapist *puts on sunglasses and jumps out the window*

Seriously I don't want to sound unkind OP but versus threads aren't taken kindly around here. People tend to get mad and there will be a lot of flame wars and posts about the search bar. Seriously I don't mean any offence and by all means welcome to the escapist and I look forward to seeing you make a name for yourself I'm just saying that a versus thread especially a topic like this is a recepie for disaster.

prototype:
tendrals that rip people in half, skyjacking helicopters, running around manhatten at 30mph sending everything flying with your sheild, two words: bullet dive, awesome killeverything goodness

on the other hand

infamous
your a walking tazer, who can be asshole tazer or saint tazer (no inbetween)

I havent played Infamous so Prototype by default. But I am a sony fanboy so It prolly would make my decision bias

only because prototype relied on gore and relying on gore to be your only selling point is like selling a color TV in 2009

:| It hardly relied on gore. Having a lot of gore but still having excellent story and gameplay doesn't make a game rely on gore.

Hm, it's kind of difficult to choose.
Prototype's bigger, faster, better fighting, better bosses and cool powers. But the gameplay's linear, the story's terrible, AI's an offence and the sidemissions are pretty much just killing things, wich is all the game is about.
Infamous has a great story, interesting characters, a vareity in the gameplay and cool powers.
However it lacks the pase, the size (there's not a scyscraper in the game), bossfights. Also all the powers are different ways of the same weapon.

I have to gowith infamous because I was more entertained by it in the long run. But for the first hours it was clearly prototype

Definately inFamous, that game is amazing, amazing gameplay, amazing plot, amazing everything.

Not this crap again. Seriously, why do these games even need to be compared? What because they are both superbadarse games set in an open city? Then why not throw Crackdown in there too, I'm sure that qualifies.
