An old game witch has been forgotten and hated by gamers. But I loved it,its intro wasn't good at all but as you played it,it grew on you.It was a great game and I will always remember it.

So what is your opinion on Infinite Undiscovery?

Fuck this game so hard.

I hated everything about this game. The protagonist was a whiny *****, the voice acting was atrocious, you spend the first couple gameplay sections running away from shit you can't really avoid, there's a fucking sequence where you run IN PITCH DARKNESS, carrying some dumb *****, from torch to torch, all the characters I met were totally 2dimensional and sucked, the first puzzle involved pulling enemies to a specific spot and killing them (which sucked), I could go on and on and I only played the first 3 hours.

The thing that got me, though, was when I finally got to the first overworld map. There, in the middle, was a dragon I couldn't fight, and it spat goddamn FIREBALLS at me as I tried to make my way around, fireballs that would knock me down, initiate a painfully slow "get up" animation, just in time to get nailed with another fireball. Horrendous. I was angry at this game.

Amusing anecdote: I fucking gave this game away to a friend of mine that also likes JRPGs. The stipulation was that he had to play it in front of me and at least get to that dragon shooting fireballs. He wanted to stop after 45 minutes but I made him continue. We finally made it to the dragon and he shut it off. He hated me more than a little bit.

I only got to the first boss. If I remember right, it was in a giant room with ANOTHER DRAGON that I couldn't fight, shooting fireballs at me while I tried to kill the boss. After dying 3 times I said the same thing I opened my reply with: fuck this game so hard.

Sorry if this is your favorite game or whatever but I have strong personal feelings about this things. It was one of the first times I found a JRPG to be utterly unplayable and I considered it a direct insult from Squeenix. EVERY JRPG I've ever played was better than this... except maybe... no, I can't think of one that was this broken and seemed this determined to make me hate it.

Never played the game, not much to add, but I really just want to say that Infinite Undiscovery is the worst title I've ever heard for anything ever. Sorry.

I know it was the same with me until I played it for 12 hours{I was bored}But after that the game was great and amazing I agree with you on some parts but the story line only gets better as you play it,you just have to have the patience to play it.

I wouldn't say I was bored, I would say I was frustrated and abused. I can easily believe it got better because I have a hard time believing it could get worse. The story, what tiny bit was revealed, seemed interesting, with the giant chains and whatever. However, the first part of the game is so punishingly awful that I honestly can't imagine playing through it. You would have to pay me, and well. At a certain point it doesn't matter how good it eventually gets; if a game starts with a smack in the face and someone pissing on your mom you'll never get over it.

I can only imagine you didn't have access to any other games or something when you played it. In general this is the reason many of us have affectionate memories regarding games that would objectively be called "not very good." For instance, me and many others have pleasant memories of Toe Jam and Earl (which is terrible).

I have the game and I've begun playing it... But that's pretty much it.

But it's been over a year since I touched it, because it was, well, not good.

It's on my "maybe one day I'll feel like playing this mediocre game to the finish"-pile, together with Blue Dragon and Star Ocean.

Come to think of it... I still have to get around finishing Tales of Vesperia. The only X360 JRPG I finished up to this day is Lost Odyssey. Man, JRPG's aren't what they used to be...

I thought the combat was....alright. As in, using X,Y and B (I think) to attack, and combining different attacks etc etc.

HOWEVER

All the characters were twats. A whiny, ridiculously annoying main protagonist; a goodie goodie girl; a stupidly stubborn cliché heavy dude with a phat sword (who became the best of the worst)and so on. Not only that, there were WAY too many characters considering you could only have a party of three. And then they had the whole secondary character system too? Eh?
and that attempt at a sex scene they did (or at least, alluded to)? That was awful.
What about that time when Capello(I think) suddenly became all angry for a short amount of times?

The story with the chains was an interesting premise, but I just got bored of it after you fight that evil woman person (I think you're in a massive castle...your party is split up...then you have to fight a boss. If you lose - which I did - you have to start again right at the beginning of the castle as there are no save points). And there were a hell of a lot of clichéd moments in there.

And the voice acting/lip syncing annoyed me.

I guess it's an alright game...but not one I would play again, personally.

I played it in stages, as it's my friend's game and she lives in another town, so that might have influenced what I'm about to say: I HATED IT.

The voice acting was awful; the main character bland and annoying; the story, even with my Suspension of Disbelief enabled, was terrible; I don't think there was a single character I genuinely liked, only characters I disliked less. Oh and the interface, especially the barter and creation one, was so hard to read I had to squint at the screen for five minutes to decipher any of the information. Sometimes I just chanced it and clicked randomly. I had to create my own entertainment by pushing Michelle around to observe the hilarious boob-jiggle physics.

It had potential, I'll give it it that. Somewhere. And perhaps it lost something in its translation to English. All I know is that knowing I finished it and I never have to play it again makes me hear hallelujah choirs.

So yeah, not a fan. Taste is like the bum; divided.

Final Fantasy XIII was much better.

The horrible voice acting killed it for me. I played it for a bit, up to the castle you have to assault to rescuer ... some guy, but couldn't get into the game enough to continue. Not a bad game but not a good one either.
