What stops me from passing around the DLC install disc for Fallout 3 to other people? I don't need it to play the DLCs. So, what gives?

On a separate note, what are the benefits of installing a game to the 360's hard drive?

They probably need the DLC disk since they can't fit all that data on one xbox disk.

And the benifit of installing a game to the hard drive is that usually it reduces loading times and reduces stress on the disk.

But usually the loading times only improve by a few seconds, so I never bother.

Its usually quicker, and a lot quieter. I'm not sure if they go online it might kill one of the dlc owners copy. I assume it would work like steam, you can have games across multiple PC's but you can't be playing portal on 3 different ones at the same time.

I'm pretty sure the GoTY copy was on one.(not 100% though). I install everygame to the HD just for the noise reduction. It's nice to play with only the occasional fan spooling up.

Oh. I didn't know about it being on one disk since I own the game on the PC, and bought all the DLC when they were released (I'm cool like that).

I offered my copy of knights of the nine (for Oblivion) to my friend but he said he didn't want it because all the mods he already has are better. I was like "... ok then"
