(Ok, for the sake of the discussion, pretend I'm smarter than any human to ever exist and somehow have access to any ressource I may need.)
So I've been wondering on the legality of the following inventions (If I were to manufacture them under the radar)
Say I started with the intention of inventing a fully functionnal Emotion control Device (basically using a beam to stimulate the part of the brain that liberates the hormone I want to be present in the person, thus simulating potentially any emotion; example, stimulating the specific parts of a woman's brain to spike her oxytocin levels when she sees me, convincing her she feels "love" for me.)
Would such a device have any laws against it? (Aside from the obvious moral travesty and any religious opinion, for the sake of this question; no religion please).
Assuming my device didn't work and instead I accidentally create a transmitter that simply boils people's brains from the inside (think a microwave cannon... just not microwaves and near instantaneous), but I have no permits or anything... Where would one go to sell this idea?
Third, although this one may fall under gun laws... Say I figure out Particle Beam Weaponry (Basically a plasma rifle) but don't want to patent it (because I somehow believe the government is going to steal the invention like they did Tesla) how could I sell that?
Expanding on the previous idea, say I've understood how to control energy to such a finite degree that I create a personal forcefield generator (nothing deadly, mind you, I simply mean a shield of high powered "kinetic energy" that would render me nigh invincible) would walking around with *this* activated be illegal? (Example; I get hit by a car, sure I'd ricochet away or through the windshield, but the car would be irrepairably damaged and I'd be fine)
Finally, say I figure out a way to harness the electricity of the ionosphere, basically circumventing the need to get my electicity from the government. Would utilizing such a device (which I would somehow already have created) be illegal?
