Introduce R18 Rating & Unban Mortal Kombat For Australia

Fellow Australian Gamers, as you may or may not already know, the up-coming Mortal Kombat game is fully banned from Australia, and any attempt at importing the game from overseas will result in a heftyfine.

this ban is largely due to the excesive violence in the game that does not meet the requirements for the current game ratings and the government still have not introduced a R18+ rating for games.


below i have supplied a link for a petition to A)have the ban on the game removed, and B) introduce an R18+ rating to the Australian game ratings

Seriously though, I think that even if sat the vote it isn't a complete agreement. They're still gonna introduce the rating, since we're getting laughed at for this.
